These Terms of Service govern the use of the B-Sense software and SaaS service operated by Hismis Kft. (“B-Sense”, “we”, “us”).

By creating an account, purchasing access, or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

2. What B-Sense Provides

B-Sense provides software and SaaS functionality related to compatible glucose-display workflows, including website, account, membership, API, and device-related software features.

B-Sense does not directly sell the physical display hardware. If the website links to hardware sellers, those purchases are handled by external sellers under their own terms, delivery rules, warranty handling, and privacy notices.

3. Account and Access

You may need an account, membership, API key, or other access credentials to use some parts of the service.

You are responsible for:

  • providing accurate account information
  • keeping your credentials secret
  • activities carried out through your account or credentials

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access where reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, non-payment, or breach of these Terms.

4. Service Dependencies and Compatibility

The service may depend on:

  • compatible third-party hardware
  • compatible phones or operating systems
  • compatible glucose-data sources or integrations
  • internet connectivity and third-party infrastructure

Not every hardware, phone, CGM, firmware, or third-party app combination is supported.

Compatibility information, setup guides, and notices are provided for guidance, but they do not guarantee that every user setup will work.

5. Paid Access if Enabled

Some service features may require a paid membership or subscription if and when paid access is enabled.

If paid access is enabled, B-Sense may use membership-level configuration and related account provisioning to grant, refresh, limit, or remove SaaS/API access.

If paid access is offered:

  • pricing, billing interval, and included features must be shown before purchase
  • access scope depends on the active plan
  • renewal, cancellation, payment-failure handling, expiry handling, and access changes must follow the user-visible membership and checkout flow in effect at the time of purchase

Additional checkout-specific disclosures may supplement these Terms.

6. Digital Service Start and Withdrawal

B-Sense is a digital service.

If immediate access to paid digital features starts shortly after purchase, the checkout flow may require an express acknowledgement relating to the start of digital performance and any effect this has on withdrawal rights under applicable law.

7. Acceptable Use

You may not:

  • misuse the service
  • attempt unauthorized access
  • interfere with service security or availability
  • use the service in a way that violates applicable law
  • misuse credentials, API access, or device authorization features

We may investigate misuse and take reasonable protective action.

8. Health, Medical, and Safety Boundary

B-Sense is a software and display service for supported workflows. It is not presented here as emergency monitoring, medical diagnosis, or medical treatment advice.

You remain responsible for your own clinical decisions and for using appropriate primary monitoring methods and medically appropriate tools.

9. Third-Party Services

Some features may rely on third-party services, plugins, login providers, payment providers, or data sources.

We are not responsible for the independent terms, privacy notices, outages, or product changes of third-party providers.

10. Availability and Changes

We may update, change, improve, restrict, or discontinue parts of the service from time to time.

We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability unless a specific written commitment says otherwise.

11. Privacy

Use of the service is also governed by the Privacy Policy and related cookie/privacy notices published by B-Sense.

12. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • the service is provided on the basis described in the then-current service materials and legal notices
  • we are not liable for losses caused by third-party hardware, third-party services, unsupported configurations, connectivity failures, or misuse by the user
  • nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded

13. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time.

We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary for:

  • breach of these Terms
  • security or abuse concerns
  • operational or legal requirements
  • non-payment where paid access applies

Cancellation, payment failure, expiry, or membership changes may also trigger access changes in the linked SaaS/API account.

Termination does not automatically remove data retention duties or records that must be kept for legal, security, or operational reasons.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

The latest version will be published on https://b-sense.hismis.com with an updated “Last updated” date.
